Attentato in Sri Lanka: queste Immagini ci fanno Sentire più Vicini al Dolore dei nostri Fratelli

Siamo rimasti tutti scioccati dai brutali ed efferati attacchi che hanno dilaniato la piccola comunità cattolica dello Sri Lanka. Il bilancio aggiornata dice che ci sono stati 310 morti, di cui 45 bambini secondo i dati dell’Unicef, e più di 500 feriti. Le esplosioni non hanno soltanto colpito le tre chiese cattoliche di Colombo, la prima, la Chiesa di Sant’Antonio è santuario nazionale, Dopo circa 45 minuti, una seconda chiesa cattolica è stata colpita, quella di San Sebastiano a Negombo, a circa 40 chilometri di distanza da Colombo lungo la costa occidentale. Successivamente, un’altra bomba è esplosa nella chiesa protestante di Sion a Batticaloa, sulla costa orientale. Gli altri attacchi si sono verificati in alcuni hotel di lusso molto frequentati dagli occidentali.

I cristiani nel Paese rappresentano soltanto il 9% della popolazione, il paese è a maggioranza buddista e musulmana.

L’attacco è stato rivendicato dall’ISIS.
